woah. I kinda forgot about this lil guy for a while.
BUT. I would just like to get on here and give a couple updates.
#1. my parents surprised me with a trip to California this wednesday. I didn't think we would be going, but WE ARE. All my family is going to be there (we do it every year), and I'm so stoked to see everyone. I'll be spending 5 days soaking up the sun and chilling on the beach. Oh and shopping. Lots and lots of it. :)
#2. The day I leave for California is also the day I finish school at Dixie. Good riddens to it all. Taking class during the summer sucked-but was good for me at the same time.
#3. My parents are buying me a car in the next couple of weeks. CAN YOU SAY AWESOME BECAUSE I CAN. I'm happy about this. really really happy. Now we'll all basically have cars.
#4. I move back up to Provo in 1 month (I'm coming a lil early).
ONE MONTH.

AHHHHHHH
Guess what guys?? My sister is engaged!!
Just kidding. There seems to be a sibling marriage trend though. Happy times.
But right now I'm kind of freaking out. Want to know why? Because Tiffany isn't living with us next year. She was the glue holding our apartment together, and the one person I really actually wanted to live with. Luckily, it has nothing to do with us, but a certain boy she dated spring semester. Apparently he's living at Riv and would be in the same ward as us, and she can't deal with it. It's all very uncharacteristic of Tiffany to be this upset, so I can't force her to stay or anything haha. She hasn't even told Meghan yet though, so I don't recommend asking Tiffany about it.
So yeah, I'm really glad all you guys are going to be at the Riv with me. I need you. Oh, and for those of you who I haven't talked to this whole summer, or even last year, I still really like you. I just never got much of a chance to get to know you. When I think about it, I didn't really start hanging out with you guys till the last two months of school.
Ok this is long and boring. And emo.
On a happier note, I'm about to go to Subway with Lily and BUY a sub, not make it. Then we're going to the first matinee showing of Harry Potter. We're that cool. And that cheap.

Mwwwairaige
After reading Hailey's post, I decided it was high time I blogged about my own brothers wedding, and my visit to Emilee's house!
I will start with the wedding.
Basically, my brother has REALLY good looking friends. They are not only good looking, but they are the funniest boys I've ever met. Fortunately 7 of them all decided to come out East to be there for the wedding dinner, ceremony, and reception. This means I got to spend 3 days hanging out with them, watching movies with them, eating with them, and drooling over them. I'm in LOVE. With all of them.
Just sayin, if any of you gals want some hook-ups next year, I'll just tell my bro to set you up because THEY ARE ALL SINGLE. ha ha.
Okay, anyways. On to the wedding. It was beautiful. I got to make two movies for them! One was a video recap of their love story, and another was a picture slideshow. So it was cool to show them the first one at their wedding dinner.
The reception that night was a little corny. They had it in their stake center, so it was obviously a cultural hall wedding. BUT Laura's parents are freaking loaded so they spent ALL of their money on the food. WHICH WAS THE BEST FOOD I'VE EVER EATEN.
We danced, and ate, and I tried not to think about where they were going when they drove away from the reception. HA "SSSSSSSSSS".
Anyways. That was that. We're having a reception for them in my backyard this Saturday, so I'll take pictures of that.
P.S. I had to wear the worst bridesmaid dress ever that I hated, but strangely everyone else kinda liked.
So Saturday morning, Em, my sister, her sister, and her sisters friends went to NY.
We:
1. biked around central park
2. ate at like 8 various locations throughout the city
3. shopped throughout the city
4. went to Brooklyn, went to time square, did everything a tourist should do when they visit the city.
5. I met up with one of my friends that is living in NY and got lost in the BRONX all by myself trying to find her. It was scary, but I made friends with a black security guard just to be safe.
For the next 4 days after that, Emilee and I had an absolute blast together. Her family is SO AWESOME. Her parents are hilarious, and her little sister Natalie is the cutest thing in the world. It was weird, because our families clicked so well together. Needless to say, when I had to leave on Wednesday I REALLY didn't want to go home.
Life in St. George is great! I'm training for the marathon right now, so I am not having sweets until October 1st. It is freaking hard.
I love you all! We're more than half way there!

MARRIAGE!
well.....hello. Tonight my dearest brother (the only one i own....). He proposed to his girlfriend tonight!!!!
Lets remember that he is the one who got home in April. April 1. Three months and one day ago. GO TEAM. He followed the Prophet, straight up.
So I want to add the video because its sooo stinking cute. But basically, there is this golf course that is basically my backyard. So up at the club house every year there is a big fireworks show! We tricked his girl into thinking that its some huge tradition to have both sides of the family come over for a bbq before and then go to the fireworks together. (that is not so...they were only there to witness the engagement). So there is a way fun band that plays while its getting dark. We know one of the dudes in the band so we asked him if they would call her up and tell her she lost something...so they called her up and she was way confused. Then they said.."do you know nate gardner? well he asked us to dedicate this song to you..." Liz said at that point she had no idea that it was coming....she just thought he was playing a song. They played "marry me" by Train. So she was basically in shock! She was laughing and happy but she was definitely not expecting it. So then Nate went up during the song and danced with her and it was way dreamy. (trust me...i dreamed of whoever the stinker I marry is). After the song, Nate took the mic and just said "well, will you marry me?" I will HAVE to add a picture of the ring. It is GORGEOUS. We have connections with a diamond wholesaler so he got a $6000 ring for $2500. (a steal). It is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo pretty. Now its got me dreaming of my wedding. Everyone is saying that whoever me and my sister Allie marry, they've got a lot of thinking to do to even compete with how Nate did it. I say...I dont need a public engagement...i'm easy. Anyways, I am just way excited about this whole deal...so I thought I would tell you..
They are planning on getting married September 23(24?). The reception will be held in my backyard so anyone is welcome to come out :) Actually, I would really love it if you all did since we will be reunited then.
Speaking of marriage: who all is planning on going to Kelsey's. Tell me if you are!

katie bo batie..
hey kats. so i'm a primary teacher these days. here are some of my "cute" kids!! some of them are just that.. but others are quite deceiving i tell you! they are just so cute, but when they get to primary they are somethin else! anyway, today i taught a lesson about missionaries. the kids wrote a class note to elder carr:) and we took a class pic to send as well.

Oh, hello again. I am posting a second time and it is feeling rather strange but I secretly wanted to so now I made it not a secret and here I am. (I'm such a weirdie sometimes, sorry).
Well my brother got married! It was soooo cute and I'm going to put up pictures because you will all die since she has two little boys and they are ridiculously cute.
Well, my life is boring, so I'll just leave it at that. I'll be doing fun things soon so maybe I'll write about those things afterwards.
Oh, just to be a weirdo one more time, I will soon be going on my first date since Dylan left! I was ice-blocking last night and we talked, and he asked me out. Nobody worry though, nothing's going to happen. Just thought I'd share that in case everyone gets a kick out of it or something. I dunno. Okay bye!

The boys (Elliot and Vincent, they're twins) actually got sealed to Nate and Amy and we're all so glad! The boys were sooo cute and patient when they were waiting in the room until they got called to go to the sealing room. The reception was cute and it was all around just a happy day! Also, Vincent asked one of her waitresses for her address and she wrote it down on a napkin that he held super tightly on to the rest of the night. (don't worry, she wrote down the address of the tea house that the reception was at). Also, I ate so many sugar cubes, it was fantastic.Well, my life is boring, so I'll just leave it at that. I'll be doing fun things soon so maybe I'll write about those things afterwards.

i really don't feel like it's fair when i post since i have nothing going on with my life. i mean i've taken less than 100 pictures this summer. that's saying something. but. all i have to say right now is. TWO MONTHS AND SIX DAYS TILL WE ALL SEE EACH OTHER AGAIN!!! woahhhhhhhhh we're halfway there WOAH-OH!
